Entering “Two Beginnings. Parallel Journeys” at Bernier/Eliades Gallery feels like stepping into a Zen garden—walls and people disappear, leaving only delicate fabrics and fluctuating colors.

The exhibition features the work of Greek artists Maria Grigoriou and Yiannis Papadopoulos, who use materials like linen, cotton, and silk, alongside traditional techniques, to create sculptural landscapes.

Grigoriou’s works capture the slow, almost monochromatic beauty of the sea, marked by rust and salt, while Papadopoulos weaves simple, meditative forms that play with light, shadow, and the passage of time. Together, they invite a journey into the essence of imperfection, renewal, and reflection.
