CYPHER GALLERY PRESENTS “SOMETHING HOLDS ME: SOLO SHOW BY BILLY KLOTSA”

Cypher Gallery presents Billy Klotsa’s first solo show in Athens, curated by A–Z. Klotsa reimagines the myth of Icarus, exploring themes of power, desire, loss, and hope. The father and son symbolize societal limits and the fragility of comfort, with the sun representing longing.

In this retelling, Icarus doesn’t die; he transforms, finding strength in loss and a deeper understanding of the unknown. The exhibition is a poetic reflection on vulnerability, resilience, and the pursuit of freedom.

A–Z also presents a marvelous multitude of screenings responding to the show’s theme, exploring loss, transformation, and the journey from darkness to light.
